From 2014 to 2019, Joseph "Joe" Vessecchia worked as an account executive for both sales and technology companies. Outside of his role as an account executive, Joseph Vessecchia has been involved with his church, the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Rochester.

Sacred Hearth Cathedral in Rochester is home to programs such as All-Star Scholars.

 This program works with neighborhood students of different ages after school from 2:30 pm (or as soon as they arrive) to 5:00 pm. Students meet in Cathedral Hall to get assistance with their homework or sharpen their skills with the help of tutors.

While the central mission is to provide students with after-school help, students also have fun. Singing, arts and crafts, making and playing instruments, and playing board and educational games are just a few activities children can participate in while in the program. In each session, students receive a healthy snack.
